As we embraced a 100% remote work environment, business leaders began to notice a shift in company culture and employee engagement. Our annual employee engagement survey confirmed a drop in engagement, particularly around employee development. At the same time, quiet quitting had become a movement across the workforce and we could not afford to lose valued staff.
L&D partnered with HR to determine the most effective ways to train our managers to engage with their employees. After completing our scholarly research, we established a training plan for annual performance reviews provided to our leadership staff. The plan was anchored to demonstrating employee value and two-way conversations.
A two-hour workshop was led by HR with managers at all levels. The attached PowerPoint guided our presenters while a Resource Kit was provided with technical instructions and useful coaching tips.
