Kyle Norman, Senior Manager of Material Damage
I worked with Andrew Poso in several capacities at CSE Insurance Group, however primarily when he was the Manager of Learning and Development. Andrew sets the bar when developing course work and makes it easy to understand for all levels of staff.
In 2022, together, we rolled out a First Notice of Loss Program and Andrew developed and implemented the training for external and internal staff. The result was an absolute success and resulted in a higher quality product than we were getting previously with our outsourced vendor. He is reliable, quick on his feet and can deliver on a tight timeline. Andrew Poso is the measure for which all other trainers should aspire to be.
Kyle was a project stakeholder on multiple Claims training projects at CSE.
Andrew is an outstanding L&D Manager. His ability to understand the learning needs of the organization combined with his knowledge of adult learning technologies and instructional design have been instrumental in bringing our learning strategy to life. Andrew is able to navigate uncertainty and change and guide learners through these challenges with maximum results. His innovative approach to problem solving has yielded effective learning strategies at all levels of the organization. He understands a diverse and multi-generational workforce and adapts his communications to different perspectives and learning approaches. Andrew also understands the power of an engaged workforce, providing keen insights to engagement data and creating learning opportunities for frontline leaders to improve the employee experience.
Andrew’s vision and foresight allow him to anticipate roadblocks and implement preventive/corrective action when needed. As a result, Andrew was able to build a results-driven, engaging, and well-respected L&D organization. He will be an asset to any organization looking to enable the end-to-end development of the workforce.
Pam was my direct manager while expanding our L&D program to all departments at CSE.
A true 10X'er, Andrew Poso, comes armed with skills that you can ask for in a learning and human capital development professional. Andrew brings the value of thoughtful facilitation, focused discussion, relevant content, that which is very critical to a good development program.
But, what sets him apart his his agility to identify any change in audience engagement, be it in person or virtual, and morph content/facilitation to provide value to learner and to the larger outcome as a whole.
As co-creators for ATD Orange County Projects, I came to appreciate his collaborative spirit, his ability to bring new ideas to the table and honest input/feedback, making each program ROI driven, with the objective of adding value to members and the learning organization.
Susmitha and I were project collaborators for the ATD Orange County Chapter.

I have had the opportunity to work with many Learning and Development managers, instructional designers, and adult training experts throughout my career. Andrew is top notch in the space of educating business professionals.
Andrew makes a conscious effort to know his audience, understand their challenges and needs, and tailors material and delivery to optimize outcomes. Prioritizes well, putting in extra time and effort when needed to expedite and support business objectives. Additionally, if he was unable to immediately create content due to other priorities, he took time to provide coaching, mentoring, and thought leadership on how the gap may be temporarily filled with a job aid or how a temporary solution might be developed for short to medium term use until a full curriculum could be created.
In 2021, Claims leadership emphasized subrogation recovery and special file handling (SIU) as levers to further improve bottom line results. Andrew developed and delivered training to internal staff and thereafter transitioned the material to operational management for onboarding and periodic reminders. Subrogation recovery percentage, particularly in the Property line of business, improved substantially as recognition by the claim handlers improved and referrals increased. Similarly, recognition of potential fraud improved resulting in more referrals.
The complexity of adjudicating Property Casualty claims is driven primarily by policy contract terms and conditions, regulatory and statutory requirements, and the tools and capabilities of an individual company. A successful claims organization focused on premium customers is tasked with many, and sometimes competing objectives of accuracy, efficiency, excellence in service delivery, employee engagement and scalability. Beyond an L&D expert, Andrew is a business professional focused on these objectives, all of which are transferrable to many other types of business.
Beyond the core learning and development role, Andrew was a great resource to me as a sounding board for ideas to revise process and introduce new or enhance existing technology; he often raised different perspectives on business strategies and tactics that proved quite valuable and were incorporated to both define and achieve success.
