This course builds recognition of the Lean fundamentals built into the processes and mindset that our warehouses pride themselves on.
Respect for people is a key driver of Lean, which is why our Supply Chain leadership prioritizes business literacy as part of our warehouse training program. This course was needed to ensure our frontline employees could easily identify Lean in their workplace and embrace continuous improvement as a cultural mindset.
Leadership asked for a course grounded in experiential learning, one that felt immediately relevant to frontline warehouse employees. I partnered with operational leaders and SMEs to identify the most critical Lean concepts and captured real, on-the-floor examples from our own facilities.
The solution relied on brief, focused video and authentic workplace scenarios to anchor each concept in the learner’s lived experience. Rather than treating Lean as theory, the course helped employees recognize Lean in action within their daily work.
Each concept was reinforced through scenario-based activities that invited learners to test their understanding and reflect on outcomes. Thoughtfully crafted feedback supported correct mental models and helped learners connect Lean concepts to practical behaviors they could apply immediately on the job.
The course was authored in Rise. Interactions were crafted with Storyline and Mighty! Video segments were created in Synthesia.
